AGC International, the sales and distribution division of AGC Studios, has announced significant changes to its leadership, with Nat McCormick and Diane Ferrandez stepping into the newly established roles of co-heads for worldwide sales and distribution. This strategic move aims to fortify the company's position in the global film and television market.

AGC Studios Reinforces Global Sales Leadership with Key Appointments

In a pivotal development for AGC International, the sales and distribution arm of AGC Studios, Nat McCormick and Diane Ferrandez have been appointed as co-heads of worldwide sales and distribution, with immediate effect. McCormick, based in Los Angeles, and Ferrandez, operating from London, will share oversight of management, film sales, and distribution. Ferrandez will additionally take the lead in developing AGC's rapidly growing television sales division.

McCormick's return marks a reunion with AGC chairman and CEO Stuart Ford, and AGC co-founder Miguel Palos, with whom he previously collaborated at IM Global. During his tenure at IM Global, McCormick was instrumental in managing prominent independent sales titles such as “Insidious,” “Sinister,” “Bullet to the Head,” and “The Butler.” Subsequently, he served as president of worldwide sales and distribution at The Exchange, overseeing global sales for approximately ten films annually and securing agreements with major studios, streaming platforms, and international distributors. Most recently, McCormick contributed to the launch of Stoic, an independent film company, where he held the position of president of worldwide sales.

Ferrandez, who joined AGC Studios in 2022 as senior vice president of film sales and distribution, has managed a diverse portfolio of titles including Richard Linklater's “Hit Man,” Anna Kendrick's “Woman of the Hour,” Justin Kurzel’s “The Order,” Ron Howard’s “Eden,” and the recently completed “Babies” by Lauren Miller Rogen. In 2024, her mandate expanded to encompass television sales and co-productions, forging partnerships for series such as “Vanished,” starring Kaley Cuoco, “Embassy,” featuring Anna Kendrick, Sam Heughan, and J.K. Simmons, and the Beatles biopic “Hamburg Days.” Prior to her role at AGC, Ferrandez was with Rocket Science, where she directed sales, financing, and slate development, negotiating deals with studios, independent distributors, platforms, and broadcasters globally.

Stuart Ford expressed his enthusiasm for the appointments, stating, “Having known Nat since the early stages of his outstanding career, we are delighted to welcome him back into the fold and for him to bring his senior management skills, dealmaking prowess, and global relationships to AGC International. Meanwhile, since joining AGC International four years ago, Diane has become an immense asset to our sales and distribution business, particularly since she took the lead in shaping and executing our scripted TV distribution strategy. It makes absolute sense for us to pair Nat and Diane as co-heads of AGC International, where I hope they will further solidify its position as one of the leading film and TV licensing platforms in the global marketplace.”

The sales team has been further bolstered by the recent additions of Jack Pallone and Priya Malhi, who have joined AGC as sales coordinators in Los Angeles and London, respectively. Pallone previously worked at WME Independent, while Malhi's experience includes roles at Banijay Rights and XYZ Films.

The strategic appointments of Nat McCormick and Diane Ferrandez signal AGC Studios' commitment to expanding its global footprint and enhancing its capabilities in both film and television distribution. Their combined experience and leadership are expected to drive significant growth and further establish AGC International as a dominant force in the entertainment industry.
